Health First diagnostic center receives re-accreditation

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Health First is proud to announce that the Health First Diagnostic Center in Melbourne has received re-accreditation in the field of General Ultrasound from the American College of Radiology (ACR).
The ACR Gold Seal of Accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety. It is awarded only to facilities that meet ACR practice guidelines and technical standards after peer review by certified physicians and medical physicists and experts in the field.
During the assessment, image quality, personnel qualifications, suitability of facility equipment, quality control procedures and quality assurance programs are assessed.
The ACR is a national professional organization serving more than 34,000 diagnostic and interventional radiologists, radiation oncologists, nuclear medicine physicians and medical physicists with practice-oriented programs in medical imaging and radiation oncology and the provision of comprehensive health services.
This accreditation demonstrates Health First’s dedication and commitment to quality care.
